Firefox is better for a PC, its faster than IE and IE has a reputation for virus attacks and buggy coding. Installed properly, you should in general have no troubles with it. I use a Mac however and I use Safari - Safari is faster again than Firefox, although Safari for PC's is still in Beta stages and I wouldn't yet trust it on the Windows platform. But in general, try and avoid IE if you can.

whudafxkcup - sounds like the security setting in Firefox on your HP are causing those issues, or you have some sort of add-on which could be causing them. Try having a little play around and see if it makes a difference.

Firefox runs faster no matter which kind of PC you have...so, I'd say it's better based on that reason only happy I hate slow computers or slow software.

I hate them too.. I have both firefox and internet explorer
but firefox runs funny on my HP and on my dell it runs just fine.
internet explorer runs fine too, but there are little things I notice
on each program that I don't like. I also want the safest.
so I disagree with your reason.

FF runs funny...? I'd uninstall it then afterwards, reinstall, or just run an update it. There are some memory leaks on occasion, but in general, it does work faster than IE.

yeah like... sometimes it won't load ceratin pages
or if im on myspace it won't read bulletin or change top friends..
just little things like that.. or won't play certain youtube videos..

I have both but with internet explorer it was so slow and kept saying`cannot display this page` all the time so I have now down loaded mozilla and since then has been working brilliantly
