lol. I was watching the same SNL show. I thought for a second that it was a 'joke'.
Like when they interrupted to announce that Buckwheat had been killed.
My family and I had just come home from a friend's place and my dad called us all into the bedroom and it was on the news on TV. It was really sad.
I was asleep and didn't even know who princess diana was...
I have no idea...I was too young to remember
asleep it wasnt until the next day that I found out...
I was at a friend's house, and I didn't understand why everyone made a big deal out of it because I was much younger.
Thanks everyone, I was just wondering. I guess that most of you weren't born when John F. Kennedy or John F. Kennedy Jr. died?
I was in the 4th grade and I was in class when jfk died. I started crying because everyone else was. I wasn't sad about him because I was young and didn't really know him (he was our president then). I was sad about everyone crying.
I heard about JFK Jr. on the news. His plane crashed in the ocean near where he lived on the Northeastern coast. It was cloudy and when it's like that, you can't tell if you're flying upside down or not. I don't think he knew how to use the instuments properly.
I was 13. I had just entered high school and was on the Newspaper. I was obsessed with the news and was already watching CNN when the newsflashes came up. My best friend and I stayed up talking on the phone about it and about who would write the story for the paper.
I had just gotten home from a friends house when princess di died. I was watching the news with my family.
When JFK jr. died. I was working at a supermarket as a cashier. I was 16. People were all in a frenzy. Every person that came through the line was talking about it.
I was at home with my parents when Princess Diana died.
I was about 11 or 12 at the time and, now I look back on that, it was a tragity. When I heard that she passed away, I didn't know what to say since I wasn't old enough to really understand. Now that I'm 23 I can look back on the memory of the accident there in England or Whales.
Anyway, Its always nice to watch documentaries on Princess Diana.
Cool, I was beginning to think I was the only one watching SNL.

Where were you when princess diana died?
I should say 'Where were you when you learned she died?' I was at home watching Saturday Night Live, when a News Flash came on. At first I thought it was part of SNL, but it didn't take long before I knew it was real.
