Where did my music go?

talk about confusing as hell
okay I havent touched my PC in quite some time because of the consequences I had to suffer (tear)
but now I get it back for a night and over 100 song are just completely gone! no music file not in the recycling bin just gone...

not there at all I had 1284 songs now im left with 968
is it just me or is that a lot of song to just be vanishing and damn do I not feel like downloading it all again a lot that dissapeared happen to be stuff that was hard to get not to mention I dont have a very good music serch engine
ugh I lost quite a bit of good music I was left with 1 Danzig song and 3 Misfits -_- not even good ones! blah =P A Day To Remember is ALL gone just random bands completely whiped with 1 or 2 songs left or just totally gone ugh...I give uup on trying fill this 80gig ipod if crap like this keeps happening I waont even get to 2K songs.if any one wants to help let me know
