Where did cain's wife come from??
Because in the bible one minute Cain is getting told he is screwed for the rest of life
(Genesis 4:15) The lord replied, No, for I will give a sevenfold punishment to anyone who kills you. Then the Lord put a mark on Cain to warn anyone who might try...
to kill him. (G4:16) So Cain left the Lord's presence and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
Then next thing you know he's getting laid, having a kid and naming city...
(Genesis 4:17) Cain had sexual relations with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Then Cain founded a city, which he named Enoch, after his son.
So what I want to know is where did Cain's wife from? Reading the bible as it is written it might as well say that she showed up from out of no where. What was her name? Who were her parents? Sorry but I think their is some vital information missing there... If there was only Adam and Eve his wife was either Eve(his mum) or Adam and Eve had a daughter which did not disclosed to Moses and Cain hooked up with her (which would be his sister). Or another scenario is Adam and Eve had an undisclosed daughter, Adam got her pregnant and she had a daughter and then she became Cain's wife (which would make her his half-sister/niece)
So could some one please answer this because it is totally doing my head in.
