I HAD MONO AS WELL, AND I GOT IT FROM A GUY WHO'S GIRLFRIEND HAD IT. ALTHOUGH HE SHOWED NO SIGNS OF IT, HE WAS A CARRIER.I DRANK OUT OF HIS CUP, AND HAD THE SIGNS THE NEXT DAY. IS THERE ANYONE YOU WERE AROUND THAT KNOWS SOMEONE WHO HAS IT? I WOULD CHECK TO SEE WHO YOU WERE AROUND THE DAY BEFORE YOU SHOWED SIGNS OF IT. SOMEONE CAN HAVE MONO AND NOT HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS.
I had mono before.. and it's just like any other cold you can get it from someone coughing or sneezing on you. Some people get the epstein barr virus(what causes mono) but it doesn't develop into mono but they can still pass it. So just because someone didn't have mono doesn't mean they didn't carry it.
You'll have the epstein barr virus for the rest of your life, you can develop mono again if you run your immune system down too much. Lead a healthy lifestyle and you'll be fine.

Where could i have gotten mono?
I have mono and I know how it is spread by kissing someone with it or drinking out of someone else's glass that has it.. I haven't been around anyone who has it and my boyfriend doesn't have it so where could I have gotten it from????
