Where can I go for Thanksgiving in California that will give my family a nice vacation. I need a place that we can all relax and rest and not even think about cooking a bird hehe.

For a vacation over the thanksgiving weekend, southern CA has to be the best way to go. Unless you're looking for something in the snow, then I'd recommend Lake Tahoe.

San Diego has lots of fun things for kids to do and makes a nice place to vacation, I'd recommend going there, as I'm not a big fan of cold & snowy weather.
