Where can I get a working permit?

I was sick for this one. Asked by aalexxaa 10 months ago, 5 answers.

I'm 14 and I really want a job.My mom thinks I'm too young and I should just enjoy life.
But I need to work to enjoy it.Money is not an issue in my life.I just feel that working for what I want and need is better. My father insists on buying me everything, and I really hate it.I want to be the one that buys my own car.I know I can get a permit somewhere, but no one in my family wants to tell me.Can you help me?

you can go to your highschool guidence counsler and get one...they give the applacation and then your employer filles out there part and then your docter does theirs then take it back to the school and they send your permit to your employer...that is if you live in the usa. when you are 14 you have to get a new permit everytime you change jobs
when you turn 16 you get a transferable one.

I'm not quite sure of the answer I'm looking for where myself, for my 15 year old.I just wanted to tell you as a mother myself, how very mature you are for what you said.I wish that most teenagers would been just as responsable.
