Is really good. You search for a band you like then it plays one of there songs and then songs from simmilar artists so you can get into more bands. The only problem with it being that it'll just get you into bands that sound sort of like bands you already listen to but my best friend swears by it.
Myspace also always has featured artists and stuff.

Is like a music magazine that claims to have lots of new bands and stuff on there some of them aren't too bad. But they all seem to fit the same genre tbh.

& if you mean to download new songs and stuff, Utorrent is really good and simple enough to use. Or you could always take the legal route and search for things on Itunes.
