Im thinking on becoming a photogapher when I grow up..
Im 14 my friend said I should start a portfolio with pictures.
Where are good places in brooklyn/manhattan to take pictures?
Specific places..
I woud really like to start taking some pictures

well, that being im not from brooklyn I can't answer that. I can however tell you where NOT to take pictures.

Don't take pictures:
Bathrooms
Through peoples windows of their houses
Of people having sex

what you need to do is catch scenery. Like, if you can do it safely, on the bridge when the sun is coming up or setting
Artistic building shots usually of a cool skyline picture
just make sure that the picture feels right. it's not so much the picture but the picture quality that really matters. I mean the pictures matter as well but if it is grainy or blurred that would matter more. If you can get a picture of UFO's or aliens I think you would be a great photographer
