In the US thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday of November.
A friend of mine celebrates Thanksmas. His family lives all over the country and can't make it twice a year so they decided to choose a date between Thanksgiving and Christmas and celebrate both on that date. Traveling was easier, it was easy to get the time off from work, and shopping early they avoided the Christmas rush.
It's the fouth thursday in November. Usually about this time, people are already getting into the Christmas spirit.
thanksgiving is on the 22nd.
