Why is it taking so long to get my period?

I'm 14 and the only girl in my class with out her periods. I'm small but so are my parents, I weigh about 6 1/2 stone and I have already started puberty (breasts and pubic hair)

What's wrong with me?

i remember in fifth or sixth grade and i was so excited about getting my period
i had a binder of information, and my best friends already got theirs.
i didn't get mine until eighth grade
and uh, some people don't get there's until they're like, sixteen seventeen.
but periods smell and they're repulsive.
you're lucky you don't have it yet.

Nothing is wrong with you. The biggest sign your period is near is the AMOUNT of pubic hair.

I didn't start my period until I was almost 15 years old! I thought I would NEVER get there! Now I am 32 and let me say--it happens when your body is ready for it!

I was a late bloomer in many ways. I didn't really know how to be a girl, I didn't like my curvy body, I hid it behind t-shirts and baggy shorts and didn't know how to do my hair or make up.

Now I'm a hairstylist, I love clothes, I work my curves every chance I get, and I've got a man who loves me for it!

Im 18 and Im 4'11 and weigh rougly 71 Ibs.

I did not get my period untill 7th grade, and since then it has always been irregular.

Although, I was born 5 months premature and I have Hormone Growth Deficiency.
Mainly, besides those two factors above, it depends on your weight alot.

When someone who is very tiny, like me, they have their period less freuently and when they do it is very light.

I know this is not what your looking for, but, when you do start your period this could happen. By the way, I still have not started growing underarm hair, so HA! I started growing pubic hair late too...

Shouldn't it be good you haven't had your period yet? O_o;;
