When you're pregnant, you start to get many cravings because of the verious hormones going on in your body. They're basically going CRAZY in other terms. There are various types if symtoms for different women. But, for the most part, you get cramps, your food cravings are more decisive and stronger based on your eating habits, obviously you dont get your menstrual period on your regular schedule, and basically your body just starts to change. Pregnancy is just another human being inside of you. That human being needs nutrients, a place to live, and a place to grow and use space. the mom's womb is the one that is providing all of these necessary tools for the baby to grow and to be transferred into the world succesfully. So, in order for this baby to get all that it needs, obviously the womb doesn;t provide everything, you have to provide the nutrients and the food for the baby. Have you ever heard the term You are what you eat? Well in this case, the baby is what you eat. You eat, let's say, lettuce, the baby eats lettuce. You eat chocolate, the baby gets fat and eats chocolate. Lol So that's just basically it. Youre body just changes when you're pregnant. :D
