ok well thk god im not pregnant.. ma period came today but iwanna b more informed on exactly when and how i can get pregnant.. i mean like ive heard something bout depends if u just got off ur period or gonna get it.. plzz help me

Most women are most fertile on the 14th day after their period, but you can get pregnant anytime, sperm can live up to 7days once its left the male. Make sure you use condoms or get on birth control then you wont have these worrys.

To know when you are most fertile during your cycle you need to do charting. Charting is used many times for couples trying to become pregnant but can also be used in reverse. (You take your Basal Body Temperature and check cervix mucous and placement daily.) Being fertile on the 14th day of your cycle is an estimate, assuming that all women have a 28 day cycle, but many do not. So using that as a tool is unreliable.

I suggest hormonal Birth Control. And yes using hormonal Birth Control and a condom are effective. But if you are taking your Birth Control correctly (on time every day, no interacting drugs, no vomiting or diarrhea) and you are in a monogamous relationship without STDs there's no reason you need to use a condom.

Check with a planned parenthood near you. Many times you can get birth control for free depending on your income.
