Whats your chosen career?

I'm almost a high school junior, which means I have to start thinking about careers:/
I have absolutely no idea what I want to do! Whats your career and do you like it? What is something you wish you could have been, but didn't?

I have so many ideas right now. I would love to be an English or chemistry teacher the most. But I also think it would be a great experience to run or work on an organic farm or do something with organic agriculture, or possibly be a nutritionist or a yoga instructor... or even a vegetarian chef.

although I am barely going into 8th grade I want to be a police officer or a attorney at law

omg I love yoga!
but yeah I was thinking about a history teacher
but I want to make some money lol
a police officer would be sweet, but I think I have a more chill interpretation of the law than them lol

Just ask people you respect around you - what would you say is a good job and why - you can look through the phone book and jot down occupations you might like - maybe consider the type of job that makes a difference in people's lives - this should give you some idea and you might need a plan in high school to take the right courses that will prepare you for that job or college courses...I wish you every success !!

I'm going to be a junior too but I already know what college I'm going to and I'm going for nursing.

I'm going to be a Junior myself soon. I'm taking Psychology in Sociology in high school next year to see if I enjoy it. If I don't, I might want to be a hairdresser.

I am currently in school for architectural technologies, but never give up on your dreams, my dreams are to make it big and I box and hoping to make it big in that area one day and continue from there. Life throws some pretty big surprises at you when you least expect it goodluck.

well when I go to college I would like to go into psychology.
mental illnesses are very interesting to me.
and also I think the mind is very ineresting.thats just my opinion.

well thats good that you are thinking ahead about your future. but you have college for that. what interests you? what do you want to dowith your life? find something that interests you in life and try to make that your career. but don't get stressed about it too much. so for you kids getting into college soon remember this: the average college freshman changes his or her major 6 or 7 times within the first semester before they figure out what they want to do.

I LOVE traveling and would love my own TV show of it...but thats so hard to get

I work in the movie industry. I'm working on becoming a steadicam operator.that doesn't really help you, as you don't live in california. -but, if it's something you really want to do, make the move. the weather's nice, the people are decent, and everything's expensive. ...well, 2 outta 3 ain't bad.

I would like to be a tattooist but unfortunatly a big problem is that no tattooists ever quit so its hard to find a job anywhere.

I want to be a writer someday or some sort of social worker/counselor. But I don't know what to pick yet.
