Anyway yesterday night my mom and my youngest brother werent home it was just me my other brother and my dad but I brother was sleep so anyway I heard like sumbody...

crying so looked in the room and my dad was just sittin in the dark crying and he kept sayin oh lord so I knocked on the wall and said dad and he said come here jayden and he started hugging me and sayin its guna be ok then he let me go
So I asked him I said dad whats wrong and he just shaked his head so I just got up and walked away from him I didnt tell my mom or my little brother I just told my other brother and said dont say anything I was thought my dad had weird mood swings like I remember a while back he slapped me accross the face for raising my voice at him then one time he dragged my younger brother accross the floor by his hair cause he wouldnt go to his room I mean one minute my dads real happy and then the next hes saddd but I still dont know why he was crying I dont what he has or whats wrong wit him cause this morning when I saw him he was fine he just went to work and didnt say anything about it so I didnt say anything any advice on what to do or whats wrong

You should talk to your mother. You are not going to be able to help him on your own. He may have a mood disorder of some kind.

ask him about it if he get mad walk away and tell some one I don't know he sounds like he needs some moral help

well he has mood swings but he might also be stressed out about work or other things, he might have been crying because he couldn't control his mood swings or he felt bad about them. well I hoped I helped

Your dad could be stressed or he could be suffering from depression. I'd talk to my mom about it if I were you. If you want to help him, you and your brother can't do it alone.

you should first off confront your dad about it if you see him alone the next time, comfort him and tell him how much you mean to him by telling him you can't get him off of your mind and it hurt you to see him crying - tell him you care and ask him gently what's wrong and that whatever it is, you'll understand and still love him cause you're his son. if it gets worse however, or he dosen't say anything and ignores the situation, your best off telling your mum about your feeling and concerns and tell her you just wanna make sure he's a 100% OK. families need comunication and support - I have a feeling you dad needs both from his whole family right now!
