I believe so, being someone who used to play, that game is addicting but after breaking the habit I realized how much of my life was wasted playing it, and if this woman plays also and he likes her so much I feel she'd only be fuel to the fire for his downfall, and by downfall I mean, losing his wife, over a game.. I mean losing I've heard of losing a girlfriend when you're a teenager of the game but a wife!! Yes, I believe she should know that he's started to have mixed feelings about their marriage because of some stranger that he met through a game.. Good luck and if you're a friend of the wife, or just a friend of someone who cares, I applaud you for caring about their relationship.
Oh and about the game, it's a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, or MMORPG for short, World of Warcraft in particular is the best there is, ever, charging players from $12-15 a month to uphold a subscription this game is VERY addictive. And a reason I experienced from it was, I'd look at a character that was the same class as mine, maybe the same level, and I'd say man I want my character to be or look as good or look as cool as his. Aside from that driving a player to reach this never ending goal, in the game is something called a 'Battleground' where a team of players play against another team of players on the opposite faction, and if a player losses they start to feel, 'Man if I could get better equipment I could beat that opponent' at least for me that's how it went, so to do so, the player would have to put in more time to reach their goal of getting these better items. This is what seems to drive players to play, the idea of, either I'm not good enough, I can be better, or I'm the best so I mine as well continue being the best. I quit because I realized I was becoming boring to talk to and I played when I was 15 and I didn't have a job so it was hard to uphold a subscription for me.. And the reason I called this an endless struggle, the company, Blizzard Entertainment, keeps creating more powerful items to toss in the game to keep people playing to get these better and better items.. Some of these items are so 'rare' one could do the same sequence practically thirty times before getting it, and that'd be lucky.. Also if I'm not mistaken Blizzard is going to release an expansion every year and a half maybe? To keep these players with a constant, endless challenge.. I hope I helped I didn't actually read the part one, that's why this is in two replies =P
If he wants a divorce, I think he should be the one to talk to his wife about it.
