Whats your opinion

ok for my medical academy we have to write a two page essay about a topic. my topis is should the Right to die be considered a right? tell me what you think and why. it will help a lot if I have different view. thnx! = )

I think it should be under specific circumstances.
Like if your in excruciating pain or something and theres nothing to help you get better... Then yeah I think you should have the choice, as long as your mentally stable...
But other wise I don't really think so, cause if your not mentally stable, then you may just be making a rash decision, without really knowing it.
Or if your sick but it's still at a point where it's curable, then no cause you'd just be being selfish really...

But yeah... haha.
So basically I think it should be a right but only under VERY strict circumstances.

suicide shouldn't fall into anyone's jurisdiction, thats something you a person chooses usually when their mental health is low and hopefully somebody can talk them out of it. terminally I'll people is more understandable, we shoot suffering animals whats the big deal about assisted suicides it's protecting them from a miserable drawn out death almost like being tortured.
