I wouldn't worry so much about the numbers on the scale as much as the things you put into and do to your body. It sounds like you have been paying extra attention to working out/exercising and eating right. That is all that matters! You cannot expect every scale you stand on to be perfectly accurate! Keep taking care of your body the way you have been (healthily) and whether your 40lbs. or 140lbs, as long as you are staying healthy, you should be fine! Don't be scared about your weight! Not everyone was meant to be skinny, so love yourself the way you are!!! In my book, as long as you take care of your body, scales and numbers don't count! Best of luck!
The reason that you're gaining weight could be that you are gaining muscle mass because you are working out so much. You could still be burning fat and still gaining weight because of muscle.
Remember, muscle weighs more than fat!
Well maybe it's mucle you're gaining.
That's the problem with exercising- you never know if you're gaining mucle or if you're just gaining weight. But if you're sure you've been doing good, there's a good chance you've been gaining mucle.

What's up with the scale?
