Many highly skilled people have trouble making that much a month, let alone a week.

I'd say only greedy and unrrealistic people can be scammed in this way.

Well, they go by the law of averages... lol. And the average human is naiive enough to contact them. Look at bulk mail. We throw it out by the armful, yet it makes money because all it takes is often less than a 2% response.
