Why did my period stop if i'm not pregnant?

I have been late on my period for 3 months. Then this month I didn't have one at all. I've taken two test which both came up negative. So if I'm not pregnant what else could be going on!? Is everything okay?

Hi everyone I'm 13 and my period is 3 weeks late and yes I am still a virgin. I do play sports, but this has never happened before.I've played sports my whole life.I was 10 when I first started my period. It is really unusual for my period to be this late. I don't know what to do??? If anyone has any suggestions on what to do please tell me!!

I'm a virgin, I'm only 14. I got my period for the first time when I was 12, so I've had it for like two years. My problem is the same as a lot of yours.. I am a virgin, and I tend to have irregular periods, majorly. I'll miss it for 3-4 months, get it once, (maybe), then I'll be late again. I was supposed to get my period around the 9th of July. I'm now 26-27 days late.. This isn't the first time I've been late... but I KNOW I'm NOT pregnant. Is something wrong ? I do want to be able to have kids in the future.. I hope this doesn't effect it.

If any of you are worried go to the doctors if your embaressed About request to see a female doctor but I wudnt I didnt have a period for 2 years. If you are you have been stressed, lose or gain weight (its more common if you lose weight) excersise to much or take drugs your periods are likely to stop for a while also if you have been on contraception that normally stop periods eg the injection it will take a while some times a long time for your periods to come back again.

Girls go see a doc. you should have one every 28 days if you dont that means your ph is off and when your ph is off that is if your not prego (some girls become prego and dont know it from low hcg the hormone that shows you are so go to the doc to make sure your not ) but if the ph is off this means there are signs for cancer and othere harmful things going on in your body most things can be fixed with just some over the counter ph leavel med check it out !!

A woman knows when her period is coming...she no longer smells fresh and clean. This is how I know I will get it, but this time with the scent no period came. Odd. I havent taken a test yet...

okay im 17 and turn 18 in april and I didnt get my period at all in september and still havent had it...I went to the doctor 2 wks ago and the test came back negative...I feel like I have cramps sometimes and if I lay on my stomach I get nausea but I dont know if im pregnant or not...how do I know?

im working up to have a baby, I am married for 2 and a half years and really wanted to have a baby. My period is due on Oct 22 but I didnt have it, its already Oct 31 and still waiting and hoping that it is what we are wishing for, but I tried 2 pregnancy test it it all came up negative... it didnt happen before, is pregnancy test kit really accurate? im praying that it is not that accurate, I will have to wait for Nov 22 to arrive and if I didnt get my period again... oh my, I think I have to see a doctor and I hope this is what we are praying for...

Well I am having the same problem at the moment. Im 16 and have lost over a stone in the last 2 months and ever since I havent had a period. I am worried but dont want to put the weight back on. But yeah, your periods could have stopped because of weight loss like me.

Im 16, 5'3 and 6st 10. I have been eating a lot less than I used to, leaving out sugar for the past 3 months. My periods stopped about 2 months ago and im really worried that they wont come back. My family are worried about me, but I dont want to put on any weight. I dont wanna be 8st again! Any tips guys?
Anyway back to the question so your periods could have stopped because of weight loss, if you have been dieting or excessive exercising that all could have an effect.
But stress is also a cause.

I am 16 years old and im very worried. I've had sex once (with protection) and yes my mother does know!! I got my regular cycle every month for 3 months then I started to spot the next month and then I didnt come on at all. I couldn't be pregnant or could I. im kind of scared to find out because my mom will kill me. I wonder if I have a cyst on my ovaries. I have real bad pains in my pelvic area and under my right rib im also very bloated. my weight has always went up and down,...but I lost alooot of weight and then gained it right back my head hurts a lot 2. I took to test and they were both negative..I wish boys could go thru this, this os so stressful
