Why is my period so random?

I had my period for a month like 4 months ago and I havent started again?
what does it mean?
I JUST TURNED 14 YEARS OLD.

I started to get mine when 11. From what I know, when you first get it it can be random until going along a certain pattern around the same time each month. It has happened to me and all my friends. Once I didn't have it for the entire last month of school and the summer. Unless you have a reason to worry, don't.

but what if your period is irregular when you started over 2 years ago??
is there anything wrong with people that have an irregular menstral cycle??

in most sitautions, no. most of the time it sjust how the persons body is and the way it works. if you ask your doctor they will probably tell you its normal liek mine told me.

I know a few people who have experienced this including myself. going on a form of birth control pill will help regulate you menstrual cycle. please dont take my response to mean that you should be sexually active. I am not promoting sex for people at such a young age by any means. Im only offering what I know to be a decent solution.

I got mine when I was 11. and it has been going every month. the last time I had it was september and it's december. relax, it doesnt mean you are pregnant, it means that you (and I) dont have a pattern. it usually takes a few months to follow a menstrual pattern (I.e. 9 days every month, 2 times a month... etc)
