Whats going on down there?

Asked by sunshine77 about 1 year ago, 10 answers.

The skin around my vag is really dry and itchy. It sometimes even gets these weird bumps that kinda burn. I also have a lot of discharge. Its not a weird color or anything. It smells kinda bad but thats abut it. The skin also is kinda like splitting...

like little cuts or something. Does anyone have any idea what it might be?

You should see a doctor right away, especially if you have had unprotected sex.

Do you shave? It could be ingrown hair that is causing it to itch and you will get lumps. It aint really pleasant.

SEE A DOCTOR ASAP especially if your skin is spliiting... but for the burning sensation ... try a cold compress wrapped around in a towerl and over a loose pair of shorts or pants. Also ... you might want to try sleeping in the nude (like w/o undies) sometimes undies can give you rashes if you are sensitive down there.

you should see a doctor asap. If you wait to long it could be serious.

ya, see a doctor. smelly discharge could be bacterial vaginosis. Not real serious if you get put on antibiotics but if you let it go, it could cause serious damage. Don't let it go for too long. It could be a urinary tract infection. Those hurt too. As for the ouchy skin, I've never had that. Try hydrocortisone cream.
