good to hear that you want a healthy diet and don't want to be anorexic like half the young girls on this site seem to want.
You should just cut out all junk food and eat a lot of salads and fruit , switch to low-fat products, go for wholemeal breads instead of white, dont drink fizzy drinks, drink lots of water and also get involved in some sort of regular exercise that you enjoy and can do everyday, whether it be walking, swimming, aerobics, etc. Also dont deprive yourself of a favourite food if you feel like it, just have it less often.
hope it works out for you,
have a nice day !!
well, I am 13 and trying to stay healthy too. at first I wanted to lose a lot of weight even if it took starving myself or throwing up, but now I feel loads better after I started watching what I eat. I know everybody tells you that, but I thought I was eating pretty good, but once I really started paying attention to how many sweets and junkfood I eat a day, I actually lost weight and felt healthier and full of more energy! its not possible for all of us to be skinny (even though your measurements dont make me think of you as fat) but my sister, for example eats very healthy and exercises a lot, yet she is not a stick figure! anyway, I also try to exercise off so I can eat some of that pleasure food but still feel good. I try to run at least a mile every day on the treadmill (spelling?) and I give myself goals. One mile=one sweet that day. 1.5 miles= 2 sweets and so on and so forth. I feel really good and even if you dont see results with the numbers on the scale, you will start to feel good about urself!!! love who you are! :-)
and btw no, 120 is NOT fat!!!

I am 15 years old and weigh around 120 lbs for a 5 foot 1 frame. Is that a little chubby? I want to diet healthy...not starve myself or throw up ( I find that gross). what can I do?
