What's a good weight for me?

ok. what is a good weight for a 14 year old girl who is 5'5 and is physically active (a dancer)?

Your a dancer so I asume your fit. My sister danced for 8 years and she weighs so much more than me about 20 pounds more and is wayy skinner than me becuase she has more muscle and muscle weighs more than fat. You shoudl not depend on the number becuase you are a dancer. I would get me body fat ratio tested instead that way you know that you have a lot of muscle and it's not fat

umm I am 14 years old 5'8 ish and active (v-ball and swimming) and I weigh 113.5 so I don't know I would say 120-130

stop obsessing about your weight love. Once you start focusing so hard on how much you should weigh... an eating disorder can develop really fat if you aren't careful. I'm sure you are beautiful and regardless of what your dance teacher says or what other girls in the class look like you should be content with your body. Stay confident girl... who cares what other people think? As long as you're staying healthy for you... who cares

I used to be a hard -core danser (I took ballet) and believe me if you're only 14 I wouldn't worry so much about weight becuase youre body is still growing. Also don't focus so much on loosing weight, just eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full, and eat really healthy. Then if you do that you might drop a few pounds. But don't sweat about it. What kind of dance do you take?

thanks! I take everything! ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, and I do acro too. I take class 3or 4 days a week. thanks for all of your answers. I was really freaking out about my weight but I looked at websites etc. and from reading your answers I've decided that if anything I might be a tad under weight! so thanks a lot!!!

I dance too and I'm 5' 1 and weigh 96 lbs. My dance teacher says that even if you dance you are not going to to be super skinny or weigh less that average. She said it's because you get a lot of muscle and muscle weighs a lot. I think any where from 110-135 is healthy.
