I really dont think you shud cook him soul food and I think thats trying to be something your not and guys like for women to be real so I really think you shold ask him what he likes and look it up or cook him something you like that is meaty..im black and grew up on nuthing but soulfood but my boyfriend is mexican and I dont intend on trying to learn how to cook authintic mexican food but the food I cook he LOVES...but I can tell you some reeally good foods to try and cook but really just cook what you know how to cook...good luck...
