If I'm 17 and I like someone older what is a good age limit? What about if I liked someone younger?

2 years is the biggest allowed gap in the years between 15-19 , then there's no limits.

I think the age limit is just what you're comfortable with. Guys I went to school with had this "between 3 years older and 3 years younger" policy which was generally accepted, but I don't think that should be any sort of hard and fast rule. For instance, I don't have to look far to see larger age gaps and successful relationships - my Parents have a 6 year age gap and they're happily married; my Uncle and Aunty have a 9 year age gap, and they too are happily married; another of my Uncles has a partner who is nearly 20 years younger than him, and they have a very strong relationship.

So long as you're both mature enough to have a relationship, personally I don't have much of a problem with differences in ages. Whether they be older or younger, I think maturity's the key here.
