What would you do if...

So you go on this forum, like funadvice or yahoo answers(just giving examples, its not the one that happened on) anywho,so you go on an make a quuestion wanting to know what names people like, and just because you list 2 names someone else on there had,but...

got banded for some reason, you get kicked off because they think you have a duplicate account but dont. Or your name is one that the banded person mentioned before they got band,so your account gets deleted.

What would you do? And please dont say talk to the people who deleted your account,I already tried that and nothing happened,oh and by the way I get harrassed by the people and get called a troll and they accuse me of being the person got banned

Well if discussing the problem with the administrators of the site doesn't work, there's not much you can do. A good site will tell you what you did wrong, and if it isn't true, they will investigate further and get back to you.

It's also easy to identify duplicate accounts through IP addresses.

I would have gone somewhere else. From your statement, it doesn't seem like they were amenable to discussion, so there is not much left to do.

If the site were important, possibly join with a different name.

Seems like that site has horrible admins and the owner(s) probably don't know what is happening with their site. Unless the owner(s) don't particularly care then it is a really bad site that is horribly run.

I would realize that the people who run large sites like these have a LOT of work to do and they mostly do it so that users can have a fun and free experience. That being said, I'd try to realize, as a user, that the people running these sites are putting their blood, sweat and tears into something so I can have fun for free, and I'd realize that they probably have a lot on their plates. I wouldn't hold it against them if they made an honest error.
