Should I go out with my friend?

Alright, so me and this guy are like really good friends, even though I don't want to admit it. he asked me out yesterday, and I was shocked. Literally. so I really like this other boy, but I don't really think I have a chance with him.Tthe boy who likes me is sorta cute, but I'm more into personality, and he really is a great friend. what would you do?

I wouldn't date him because of the fact that you guys have been friends for so long and for me personally, its akward to make that transiton with someone that I've known for ages . I also always think about consequences imagine you guys break up, your friendship would never be as comfortable as before you went out... also I think you should try with the other guy that you like, going outwith someone that you don't even like is an example of using a person to boost yourself confidence
