What would I tell my kids?

so yeh im just a teenager but like I was thinkin about when im older and if I get married and have kids and when they grow up what am I gunna tell them..like I drink and used to smoke weed and ciggs. like what am I gunna say dont drink or smoke I didnt...

do it when I was a kid..ill just be lieing. what would I do??

tell them that you've made mistakes in your life that your not proud of, but you learned from them,and that you know whats best for them, dont lie to them,but you dont have to tell them "everything about your personal life" move on to the future and be a good example for your kids

Well actually since you did it then you cud sorta tell them how you experienced it and how you made a mistake and how it isnt good tew dew and all that you noo! Like even tho you don't want to sound like a hypercrite by saying oh don't do it yet you did it as a Kidd but like who hasnt? Every one does dumb stuff as a kidd I no I have soo like if they noo you did it that cud kinda help you out by saying yea you did it but it was a mistake and not a good thing tew dew! tell them what your experiences are..good bad or ugly..or encouarge thats its a stupid thing to do...but certainly don't be upset if they tell you they tried it...thats just hypocritical...I mean come on, we all experiment...dont feel bad..my parents and my bffs parents ik forsho tried/did use drugs...A LOT...so it doesn't make you a bad person or anything...just be understanding when you talk to your children about it...and hear them out(when you get to that bridge) :]]

I think that later in life if you keep doing drugs and smoking and all that crap bad things will happen. when you have kids admit that you were wrong to do those things, and scare them and tell them stories of your past
