What's a 1-year anniversary present for a guy?

I have been with my boyfriend for a year and I want to get him something special...what do guys want? lol I always have the trouble of buying for him!

lol it is hard..he like hockey (tronoto leafs), and soccor and movies and video games...but whatever he wants he buys......and i just wanna get him something so special....what would you get a guy?

Well...it seems like if you've been with someone for a year and don't know what kind of gift to get them, you're not really paying attention to him. What are his hobbies? Likes, dislikes? You should know these things by now.

well boys always enjoy cologne or boxers, but since youve been with him a year and want it to be special, id probably make him something, or get him something that comes from the heart. take him somewhere special, surprise him. boys always like surprises.

Ok....this is what i did for a one year....i made a picture dvd with all our pictures set to music the pictures would fade in and out spin to open and it was about twenty minutes long... i took him to the beach with my portable dvd player and played it for him....on the dvd cover i customized it with our first picture togeter on the front and a recent pic on the back....I use the beatles song From me to you with love which began and ended the dvd....he loved it.... then for a gift I have him all kinds of little things to jog his memory ....like a bottle of strawberry smoothy shampoo that spilled throughout his car and he had to smell it for like a month....and all kinds of cute stuff and then add a main gift of what ever he likes... but you can build or lessen the gift. but the dvd programs can be purchased and they are so great...but allow yourself time for its very time consumming but fun to make.....hope this helps!! if you cant do this.... a very nice key ring or fold is good for its with him always and he will remember you each time he reaches for his keys.... good luck!!

I'm making my boyfriend a cd of all the music that's special too us, or will jog a memory of the past year. Can't think of much else though. It's hard because I'm only 14 so don't really have any money and his families rich so he will. However much you get, or what you get, it will be special.

for my 1 year anniversary with my boyfriend ( which is today 3) I got a card and wrote a long letter in it, and I got a photo album, and it has pictures of me and him through out the past year weve been together, I left blank ones with a little note at the end that says these are where we will place our memories from the future
I hope he likes it; I havent given it to him yet though.

hmm? I also dont know. tomorrow is our anniversary, ihust bought him a shirt that I know he'll like.

Well what ever his hobbies are you should do something around that. My boyfriend likes to film and make movies and everything to do with that is expensive. But I found this guy who teaches you how to make your own equipment for cheap. So I made him something for his camera that would cost like 500 dollars for 20!! He loved it because I made it and because he had wanted one but it was too expensive.

I'm having the same troubles, I'm seventeen so I can drive and such but he likes to plan the dates, esp the big ones like our one year that is coming up in like a month. I have little things like a drumstick I caught at a concert of one of his favorite bands and a signed picture of them, then a few other little things that are kinda inside jokes. I have always liked the whole idea of the love letter but I did that for valentines day and I don't want to be redundant.
oh! here's an idea for you, get a card of some paper, write the cheesey love letter that is classic but then rip up little pieces of paper and in all sorts of different languages write I love you and on the back write what language it is in, my boyfriend did this for me for valentines day and I absolutely loved it.

I'm having the same exact problem. Our one year anniversary is in less than a week. I'm really into art. I like drawing and painting and making things, and he loves it when I give him my art pieces. He has them all over his room. So I bought a bulletin board and painted it really cool. And then I stuck pictures of us on it and gave it to him (I gave it to him early). He loved it and has been adding to it since. Every time we go to a movie he saves the tickets. And he hung all of them on the bulletin board. My other gift that I haven't given him yet won't be here for about a month. I ordered 2 rings. Just plain titanium bands, and I got Forever Always engraved on the inside of them. One for each of us. But he spent like 6 times more on me than what I spent on him. So I wanted to get him one more thing. But I don't know what.

buy him a Hollister shirt or invite him over and just give him a good time by hanging out ,talking , WATCHING MOVIES exct...
