What qualifies for calling cps. I know a 32 year old women that has 3 kids and all she does is sit at home all day in the grage and smoke and play on the computer. She cant even take her kids to school or pick them up because she doesnt want to and never...

cleans her house, her house is so disgusting that she has magets now. She cant control her 13 yr old daughter she lets her sneak out of the house to have intercourse and doesnt punish her and her son has some mental problems and she has called the cops on him. Should I call or what should I do?

Would approaching her as a concerned neighbor help? Maybe you should ask around her surrounding neighbors for their opinions, and if they think the same, they can back you up when you do call.

You dont really need any sort of bottom line abuse for calling cps... if you think she's neglecting her kids then by all means call them up. Then it is up to them to investigate (they have to investigate all reports of abuse whether there is evidence or not). They'll decide what to do, if they find no evidence then no harm no foul...

She's neglecting her children, she should have cps called on her. You have to think about the welfare of her children not what it would do to the mother.

You probably need to get in touch with a social worker or the special victims unit of your police department. You need to get proof of her house and children being neglected though.
