What works best on blackheads?

If you had gotten rid of them, how the hell did you do it?
because I use Clearisal Daily Scrub which sort of works but I need to know what'll give me faster results.
hint: proactiv isn't a resource. I've been there and done that.

okay.. this might hurt but a friend taught me this and it WORKS. Use the end of a bobby pin ( the side that doesn't open.) and you just press gently but firmly right next to your black head. When she did it to me it hurt like a bee sting then it came out.. and it didn't hurt anymore. Just put some cream on it after it gets out.

hope that helps.. .=)

what has really helped me is using an astringent (toner) and using a weekly facial mask. I got this one facial mask called mint julep mask and its sold in CVS...Its great because it targets acne (which includes blackheads). If you can't find this mask try using a mask that specifically targets acne/blackheads. Bursting them is okay...but sometimes they just leave a red mark, and they almost always come back so I wouldn't suggest doing that. Just be patient and if you continue with your mask , they should go away. Btw, after your toner you should always follow up with a moisturizer, this is because your skin can get overly dry with the toner and actually cause your skin to produce MORE oil. Only wash twice a day and no more (unless you've worked out).
