ok so this might be a lil long
so my mom made me take the acts last weekend and im not suposed to take them until im a junior or senior and im only a seventh grader and she expects me to get a perfect score why is this?
Perhaps she is trying to see how you react to a challenge, or an adverse task. I’ve seen the same sort of thing. My friend purposely failed the BS test so the parents wouldn’t have inappropriately high expectations of him in the future.
Never let anybody know how smart you are, or they will begin to expect it of you constantly.
She’s trying to prepare you for high school, my teachers in elementary school and middle school did something similar to me. Don’t get mad Kenzie, they’re just trying to prepare you ahead of time.
It’s to prepare you. So you don’t get used to underachieving.
yea but a high school test in middle school is strupid in my eyes :(
