What was the big deal with 6/6/6

I think in like the 1960's the was a 666 scare, what was it all about?

Lol, 666 is apparantly the devils number...

for now its just peeps like to get scared or whatever lol but I remember there was another thing on the june the 6 2006 because the date was 06/06/06 you get the point

Technically 666 is the old Emperor Nero's number in a code used to offer religious teachings in the time of his oppression. They needed a way to talk about him without being questioned so they gave him a number.

People forget that handy tidbit and think that anything having to do with 666 means apocalypse (whish it might, the Bible can be unclear about that. for all we know, the number applies to both Nero AND the Beast).
