What to text him?

Theres this really gorjeous lad, and he's like really decent and not just a scratty boy, lol, I have his number but I havent text him yet, any ideas what I can say, because I feel like I need a bit of an excuse to text him cause im waaay not good enough...

just say hey I seen your number and it made me want to text you, what are you up to? then if he texts back saying hey nothing you? just say I was wondering if you wanted to get together one of theese days

or just say hey I think your so freakin cute!

If he usually doesn't notice you at all or you absolutely know for a fact he wouldn't give you the time of day, I wouldn't waste your time trying to woo him.

thanks but I like dont want to ask him to meet up with me, because it's a bit forward and we literally dont know each other I just would like to start to get to know him, I spoke to him once it was a very short conversation and I've only really seen him like 4 times, and made eye contact, hes my dads friends son, and he would just find it a bit random if I were to text saying how are you, so id just like an idea on how to start to get to know him, by dropping him a text, thanks for anwsering but id like something a bit differnet would be great if I could get some more advice on a text thats not like I LOVEYOU, and not one thats like yeah you ok, just you know... would really apprecaite help x
