There are lots of ways to work with kids & still do something that will make more money than teaching - consider a company like Sylvan Learning Centers, perhaps (though I don't know how much they pay) that specializes in education, but isn't a school. Or you could consider going all the way & getting a PhD, then doing something with older kids...though it really depends on what age you're looking to teach / work with.
Also, something that I think would be very rewarding would be working for a company like the one that makes Leapster / Leapfrog products...as they seem to be very innovative & fun, as well as more technology focused / driven. Hope this helps.
How about going into pediatric dentistry, or being a pediatrician?

What to do after high school?
I am a junior and recently I have been thinking about colleges and what I would like to do after high school. I am really love kids, but I want a job that pays more than teaching does. Does anyone have any suggestions about other majors that involve children and pay good?
