What to do about boyfriend?

So out of nowhere, my boyfriend says hes going to quit playing hockey and I asked him about it and he said hed rather not talk about it. I told him I loved him and if he needed help I would try my best, etc. He then said 'I dont think you or anyone could...

help' and I said is it really that bad? and he said yeah. then I asked if he wanted to be left alone and he said yeah then went offline.
So what do I do? I dont want to bug him but im worried for him.. everything was fine with him up until an hour ago.

hes not on drugs lol. he has swine flu.

sometimes it takes a bit for someone to talk about things surrounding big decisions.
He knows your there for him, and willing to talk about anything, thats all you can do right now. maybe there is stuff going on at home for him? or stuff involving someone on his team. It might be bigger than just quitting hockey. give him time, Men don't always know how to express themselves lol.
