What to do about a cling-on friend?

Asked by fau 2 months ago, 2 answers.

What should I do about a cling-on friend, who tries to plan most of our activities and books my calendar, and is threatened by my attempts to make other friends? I don't want to lose her as a friend, but I want to make other friends, too. And it's...

annoying when she plans so much stuff for us to do. I need to be with other people, my family, or even just by myself! When I try to say no to her, she acts hurt.

When she tries to plan stuff just say you're busy... she will get over it.

If you aren't free to do what pleases you then she is definately controlling your relationship and that is no friend!

Go out with other friends and family as you please. Don't fall for that I'l find other friends crud.
