well first, dont freak out.
that normally makes things worse.
breathe and relax for a minute.
wait two weeks [at the very least] after the date you had sex.
go out, by a pregnancy test...
and have her take it..
once you find out if shes pregnant or not, then chill.
also, I think you should use condoms from now on.. for a few reason.
A) To avoid pregnancy,
B) To avoid STD's
C) To avoid you feeling scared and helpless.. I know the feeling and its not so great.
so just stay safe, and lemme know if you need anything else :]
just message me whenever :]]
Yea, the morning after pill works wonders. I wouldn't recommend it every time.. Use a condom next time; or have her get on birth control. The pills are called Plan B it'll make her sick, but it'll get rid of her possible pregnancy. They sell them over the counter at a Walgreens pharmacy but you have to be 18 or older in order to buy it. Oh, you can't buy it for her because you're a guy..
Good luck!
LOVEDOC, I hope you get this.
Emergency contraceptive (morning after pill) is called 'Plan B' and should be available from any pharmacy in the US WITHOUT a prescription. A guy OR a girl can buy it, but the buyer must be 18 or over. If the person that is going to use it is UNDER 18 they may not sell it if you tell them that. It costs $10 - $30. It should be used within 72 hrs of intercourse (Some say 120 hrs may still be effective.) IT IS NOT GUARENTEED. it is 70-85% effective. The sooner it is used, the more effective it is.
An alternate source may be Planned Parenthood (307 E Texas Ave, Midland, TX - (432) 570-5184) right in your town. They can help with the problem.
.
DO NOT WAIT. Time is NOT on your side.
Furthermore, Planned Parenthood (307 E Texas Ave, Midland, TX - (432) 570-5184) can help you get information and assist in you and your girlfriend avoiding this problem in the future.
Note that 'Plan B' is not an abortion pill. It works by signalling her ovaries to NOT release an egg. Since sperm will stay in her uterus for 4 days, there is a window that Plan B can close IF an egg hasn't been released yet. So the sooner the better.
Good Luck!!
