Where should I hang out in the bay area?

I just moved to the bay area, and don't know many places to go nor somewhere to meet people...any suggestions?

Try and check out some martial arts studios. Look into jujitsu or mixed martial arts training. Make sure you sign up with a good feeling. This good feeling will come from the head instructor. You want nice people who have a genuine concern for their students.
Not someone who you feel has something to prove to the students. In other words you want an instructor with no ego, but you can tell has a tremendous amount of experience at mma/jujitsu instruction. What WILL happen is you will begin to connect with other students and form really fun relationships. You will be doing this and creating friendships with good people. Have fun, and don't let up on your training.
