well, you should watch some cooking channels...or buy a cookbook...a really good cooking show is semi-homemade...cause it's fast to make...or 30-min meals w. rachael ray...and I think you should be doing most of the cooking at home because I knoe your boyfriend DOES NOT want to go home and not find a hot plate on the table...my boyfriend also works. he gets home at about 7pm. everytime he finds me cooking or finishing a meal, he walks behind me and hugs me because he's appreciative of me and that I take the time of day to make sure that I cook him a hot plate...once in a blue we go out, but I mostly cook, and that makes our relationship better!!!
He will be so happy that you cooked it won't matter what kind of cooking skills you have lol. Trust me, I can't cook at all, but I when I actually do, my fiance is so thrilled. Try this:
Enchiladas.
12 Corn tortillas
1 package enchilada sauce mix
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. instant minced onion or 1/2 cup chopped fresh onion
2 cups shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese
1/4 cup chopped or sliced black olives
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan prepare enchilada sauce mix as directed on the package.
2. In a large fry pan, brown the ground beef and onion. Drain excess fat.
3. Stir 1/2 cup enchilada sauce into the meat mixture.
4. To assemble, dip each tortilla into the sauce. Spoon about 2 tablespoons meat mixture and 1 tablespoon cheese down the center of each tortilla. Roll into thirds and place seam side down in a 9 by 13 inch baking dish.
5. When all the tortillas are assembled, pour the remaining sauce over the top. Sprinkle with olives and extra cheese.
Stuffed Green Peppers
4 to 6 large green bell peppers
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 (20 ounce) can whole tomatoes
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 to 1 1/2 cups cooked rice
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Cut tops off bell peppers and remove seeds. Parboil in salted, boiling water for 4 minutes. Drain and cool.
2. Brown meat in skillet with onion. Drain oil. Add tomatoes that have been mashed. Add
Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
3. Add rice. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
4. Add Cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and well blended. Stuff mixture into peppers. Top with Parmesan cheese.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F about 20 minutes or until hot.

What to cook?
My boyfriend is at work all day and when he comes home he always has to cook for me. He used to be a chef so he knows what he is doing more than me so it's only natural to let him cook...
I've now had enough and want to make him happy by cooking him a...
nice meal. Has anybody got any ideas on an easy cook meal (as I'm rubbish!) but will make him happy?!?!?!?
