What should i get my boyfriend for his birthday?

My boyfriend's 20th birthday is approaching and I have no idea what to get him.

He is into boxing, running, biology, law, reading fiction and non-fiction...for some time now he's been into international law...lol. He isnt particularly into music. The...

thing is, we're in a long-distance relationship, roughly 2000km apart, and meet only once a year for a coupla days or so.
I wont be able to give his gift to him in person, im sending it through someone, so I want it to be extra special.

Any ideas will be much appreciated.
