How to comfort my dad during their divorce?

dad and help out I dont have a license so I cant drive and I live out of a town so im not close to a place to work what advice can you give me... and o yeah forgot to mention I NEVER want to see my wh*re of a mom again so just whatever advice you can give me thx

um well for one live with your dad that solves the homeless situation and then you could get your license and get a job if need be you could cut peoples grass hell anything is better than nothing my friend

okay yeah I live with my dad and I love him I hate to see him hurt but at the same time I cant stand not being able to tell my mom how much I hate her and yeah they are going to court and shes trying to take everything and its my dad losing the house even if she doesnt take that we will lose it

you know what? my mom cheated on my dad..they got devorced, but I still love my mom, I do think shes a slut but w.e, she's mother, you can't cut the person that gave you life totally out of your life. well you can, im just saying that's me, I wouldnt just totally cut my mom out, I could never stop loving my mother, im sure you can't either. just think about it.

my familys like flat broke, I can't even afford to buy lunch at school, I have to wait to get home for dinner or ask for money from somebody else.

okay heres my look on it for 10 years she did this and now we are loosing our house that I've been in my whole life I will have to leave all my friends to go live in a box because of that bit*h shes making my dad sell all the things I love and taking away our chance to have a nice life again and it was with my dads best friend for 10 years I cant and never will forgive her for ruining what was left of my childhood because I have to keep my dad moving and sister moving and you have no idea what its like to know 3 months before your parent found out and not have the heart to break theres in the last 2 years my life has gone to hell because of her she can leave it to me to fix it now

I've actually been in the situation your talking of from your Dads point of view. . . Stick with your dad thru thick and thin.
Don't hate your Mom, Hate only causes harm. hate her actions not her.
Sometime we got to do hard things in our lifes and it's not going to make us happy.
Remember Hard times can make you or brake you. . . don't get broken.

to put it in a nutshell... be there for your dad.

hey my mum did that to my dad its not nice what so ever! theres not a awul lot you can do for your dad , I was in the same situation just let him know that you are there for him, and spend time with him when you can like mayby go out or something which trust me will take his mind of a lot of it! just be positive aorund him and I duno its hard really! just over all just be there for him as much as you can ok , but do think about what you feel at the moment as well, its hard when one of your parents have been cheating, and if you dont get what you feel out of you then you end up getting deppressed and if you end up like me your bottle it up and end up doing summing your regret!

Look, when I was 17 my mother cheated on my dad. It wasnt pretty, to make the situation worse, I had signed up for the ARMY already. This all hit at the worse time possible, and my father hit rock bottom. Seriously, it was not a walk in the park at all. My mother and father would toggle me back and forth and would be very child like, in the fact that they would argue over who would get to see me. It was horrible, and being the only child that made it worse. My father was devistated, and I was by his side as much as I possibly could be. These things are tough, but you just have to do whats best for you! Both of your parents will love you no matter who you pick to live with. Its not your fault all that happened. Frankly they should leave you out of it, but like I said do whats best for you.
