What should I do if my friend won't talk to me?

Last week my friend called me racist (yes, she was one of the people that called me that in the previous question) and the next day I was a little mad at her and told her (as a joke) that I shouldn't have picked her for my P.E. soccer team. She knows that she is bad at soccer and laughed when I said it but now for some reason she won't talk to me. I told her I was sorry about what I said and that I would never actually say something like that but she still would not talk to me after that. I also asked her why she wasn't talking to me so I could realize what I was doing wrong and try to fix it.
She seems fine when she is around everyone but treats me like I am some fly buzzing in her ear. I wan't to make up with her but she won't even listen to me for that and it is getting annoying. It also seems like something my six year old sister would do but we are in high school. What should I do about it?

oh I had that with a girl the other week.

what happened was, my best friend told me that this girl ...actually I wont tell you her real name cause she might be on this site... I'll call her Lily, hated me. I was like, 'Lily? No!' I thought she was one of my good friends. ANd she never acted like she hated me. Then I thought, cause she wears mascara to scholl and your'e not supposed to ... I mean, REALLY not supposed to... and me and a couple of other friends call her a panda, cause, you know, rings around the eyes. I though maybe that was what was bugging her. So I apologised, and I thought it was all good, she wasnt acting any different. Then next day she came up to me and started yelling at me for flirting with her bofriend , like *ever since time began*. even though we're just good friends.

anyway, my point is, she's probably not mad at you for the reason you think she is. and... youre probably going to fin dout soon enough. And the thing is, you can't do anything about it. Ahe'll either get over it, or not, and if she doesnt, she doesnt, you know? Not much you can really do about it. I lnow, it sucks.

But you need to get over it as well. otherwise youre hanging round her trying to get her to take you back, and trust me, its not a pretty sight! Just hafta *make a life* elsewhere. and if she can treat you like that, are you sure you want this friendship? You need to do some thinking. If she eventually does want to make up, I wouldnt let her get too close again until you're sure you can trust her again.
