Shark Atack Asked by funadvice over 2 years ago, 5 answers.

i am in a lot of trouble. my boyfriend thinks i like his best friend when i really don't. I have tried telling him that i dont but he wont believe me. What should i say or do to him to get him to believe that i like him and not his best friend?

You shouldnt have to prove ANYTHING to him if you have never given him any reason to not believe/trust you. Id say your bf is immature, and very insecure to go accusing you of liking someone else, if you have been totally faithful to him!!

Why dont you ask him why he thinks that! Tell him that you have NEVER given him any reason to ever doubt you, so its rediculous that he would even think such a thing!!!

Trust is the corner stone of a relationship. You you don't have that, you can't have much else. Have you done something to show that you may have interest in his best friend? It sounds like something he needs to work on, him trusting people. Usually there is some cercumstance (sp) that leads to someone having trust issues. You two need to find out what that is, and work on it together.

You should dump your boyfriend and move on to a relationship that is mature and respectful. This week, it's his best friend. Next time, it will be his coworker. Then it will be your neighbor. He is an insecure jerk. Don't be the girl that bows to his abuse and just wonders wide eyed whatever did you do wrong and how can you fix it.

Girls, stop giving these guys your body, heart and soul when they clearly don't deserve it!

Bottom line, there is no point in being in an untrusting relationship. It is a lot of wasted time, energy and tears.

You should find another boyfriend who would believe all what you say without questioning you and making you tierd of trying to find a prof!
