How to tell my mom i want birth control?

well...I recently started have sex and I want to go on birth control
but I dont want to tell my mom im not a virgin.
...she would never let me leave the house agian if she found out...
I dont know what to do
any advice.

this is crazy because I just told my mom today. DO NOT go to plan parenthood and get it behind her back. TRUST ME. im 18 and I just told my mom today over the phone that I had sex with my boyfriend (of 4 months) and that we love eachother and we want to be safe. SHE WAS SOOO GLAD I TOLD HER.
your mom would rather you be honest and hear it from you than find birth control in your purse. she'll think you didnt trust her. it went well for me, I was scared out of my mind but it worked out great, im going to the doctors to get it tomorrow! she even told me that she loved me and shes proud of me. it will strengthen your relationship when she knows you want to be honest with her!

go to plan parenthood... its confidential and you dont need a parent... I got on BC when I was 15... and its free if you are under 18... protect yourself and do what you have to do if you are having sex... you can go to plannedparenthood.com to find a clinic near you...

How old are you?
It is true you can get free birth control from planned parenthood but its not the best option.
Im 18 and have been having sex since 15 I never asked my mom for birth control and never ended up goin to planned parenthood now im 5 months pregnant
My moms dissapointed but of course shes there for me
But she did say she wishes I would of came to her and asked for birthcontrol so that I could be safe and saved this for later on in life

Also know just because your on birthcontrol you should still use a condom because as you probably know BC dose not protect against stds

just tell her that when you get your period, they last a longer than they are supposed to, and come at irregular times. then ask her if you can get birth control to help keep your periods short and routine.
