What should i do??

I really want to go to go to school... but I'm scared cause I've always been home- schooled and I'm thinking about going next year but I'm not sure if I'm smart enough... I'm in 8th grade now so if I go to school next year ill have to go to high school...

cause ill be in 9th grade... is middle school better than high school? And what should I do go back in a grade so that ill have one year in middle school which people tell me is easier so ill get an easier first exspearience in public school??? And I really want to go to school but my parents are'nt sure if they will let me go... how can I convince them to let me???

I thought home-schooled kids were smarter than public schooled kids? if you're worried about it, don't be. plus in my opinion high school is a bit more fun than middle school, I don't know why, it just is lol

I definitely think you should go to school. I would go craaazy if I had to be home-schooled because school is where all my friends are. As for going back a grade, there are tests you can take to see what level you are at acedemically, and on the social outlook I think it would probably be easier for you to start to get to know people in your grade. A good way to convince your parents might be to make a list of the ways that going to public school would benefit you. Good Luck!

ok so here it is...my friend was home schooled her whole life. she came into public schools in 6th grade. but if your starting out at the beginning of the year she says its not too bad. she says that now that she has come to regular schools she never wants to go back to home school. although she did have 1 friend in the school already she started making friends quickly.there are a few things that are totally diff and take some getting used to but it worked out great for her. now her brothers transferring to public schools now too!!
