hey there , im in the same boat as you i dont get on with my mum at all, in fact i ahvent seen her in 4 years becasue we argued a lot and in the end she said that she didnt want to see me any more. because of that i started to self harm and that over the last year had lead onto suicide. i found talking to friends never really helps beacuse they do give up and it can pull a friendship apart which is not want you need at the moment. your friends will be there for you im sure but to stop self harming , its something you have to stop yourself from doing and if you speak to someone who hasent done it then it becomes really diffiult to understand it all , your best bet is to talk to someone who goes through it and you can help each other.
many people will tell you to and see a counciller but take it from me all they will say is talk it through with your mum and stop harming yourself. if you feel upset then take a walk or scream into a pillow. i dont no what else to say really but i hope u do stop self harming cus you will have so many scars oneday and take it from me it makes life really hard when gettign to know someone,a nd thats not worth it from that one person, your stronger than this ok!!well im here if u need to talk as i no exactly what ur going through!!

You need to know what is causing your depression and work with that problem until you can get a grip on it. Your mom probably doesn't talk to you in a respectful way and that is probably why you wont go to her. I had that same issue. Try to talk to us here or on another website and let it out sweety. You have our support.
dude. everyone will give you the same answer.they always go see someone to talk to or something but u know what.they dont do anything! they just tell you to take meds or go to a psycho hospital.i say when u know you wanna stop then u will.follow your own advice.and if u wanna talk to someone talk to me.hehe.jk but just talk to another one of your friends or something
talking to someone isnt always the easiest theing to do, but its the right thing to do. start out telling ur friend (casually, so u dont freak her out) and then tell and adult who can help u over come ur depression (maybe even talk it out with ur mom). start doing things with ur mom to build ur relationship. bring up the movies, or dinner one night. cutting ur self is definiatly not the answer. it will only leave you in more pain and with ugly scars. instead, try arobics or yoga. theyre great stress releiving activities (ask ur friends to join in!)

i don't get on with my mum that well
and i cut myself because im so depressed
i tried talkin to my best friend but i don't think she understands
and i think the longer it goes on then we wont be friends
