What should I do?

There is a new student in my school, his name is Neil. I really really really really like him but I am too shy to tell him so I told some of my friends to tell him and they did. A few days later my friends told me they looked in his notebook and saw that it said ''Nate'' at the back of his nb!! They said that he maybe already has a girlfriend or maybe he likes somone else. I felt really sad and now I dunno what to do because everyone is telling me thats he wont like me...I dunno what to. My point is if he really has a girlfriend what should I do? If not what should I do? plzz help!!

Dear u, I don't think you should listen to what people tell you just get to know the guy as a friend first approach him friendly, find out for urself, if he does have a girlfriend remain friends, and if he doesn't then you should go for it don't be shy. Okay good Luck...

Your friends don't know what they are talking about. Nate is not a girl's name. You need to try this..since he is new and all. Find a way to get around him and do something like bump into him or something then say..oh hey sorry...what's your name...oh neil.. sorry for bumping into you...then look confused and be like aren't you new here? yeah how do you like it? well if you need anything just let me know. That will start you out.
