How can I make it obvious that I don't like him?

I met this guy about 2 weeks ago. I dont really like him but I gave him my number and everytime he's called, I havent been home. But my cousin told me he was g*y (but he's not). My question is" should I make it obvious im not interested?"

give it to him nicely that your not looking to date anyone right now .

Well, first of all you were wrong for giving out your number and giving someone false hopes. He assumes since you gave your number you were open to him calling you, and can you blame him?? Tell him nicely that you are not interested in being anything other than friends right now. Let him down gently, because you've already caused him undue pain.
